Reflections

I've been working on this particular piece on and off for the past few months, and I'm so glad it's finally finished!

It was originally inspired by the 12 Dancing Princesses fairy tale...that I apparently misheard my entire childhood? For the longest time, I was convinced there was a moment in the story where the hunter discovers the princes were actually monsters all along. However, I can't seem to find that particular rendition anywhere! Guess I just added the scene to make the story more interesting to me... Has anyone else ever done that, or is it just me? Ha ha ha!

  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxxlVfI9FQU You're not wrong. There is a version where the hunter sees the princes as monsters. It was in a cartoon which I've linked to you. The quality isn't great, but it's old ._.

This picture is brilliant, by the way :)

More than brilliant, really. It's beautiful. I love the dresses, the colors, the people, their faces. Just everything. I look at it and I can just see them dancing. It's so well done. It's a gorgeous work of art ^_^
