Welcome to Bootwood

Or "Shoe City" or "Holly Boot" or any other kitschy names involving shoes. Those of you who took portfolio class with me may know what story this image is about. Those of you who didn't...well, the plot will be explained soon enough. For now, let's just refer to it as "The Little Old Woman" story. With a twist!! XD

Aaand bonus! I drew DOGGIES!! This was just one day's worth of doodles...but I'll be drawing some more later. Gotta come up with an adorable furball for this shoe story! Huzzah!!

  1. :D *squeal*
BEAUTIFUL work Chrystin! The dogs are fan-freakin-tastic.

  2. Dude, if you made prints of that top painting, I'd buy one. I looveeee the colors and the concept and pretty much everything about it!

Your work just keeps getting better and better - you're gonna blow people away at Siggraph.

p.s. Lady and the Tramp is my favorite disney movie; those doodles gave me a total nostalgia heart crush.

  3. I adore those dog paintings. They have such a great use of color :3

  4. You've hit the nail on the head with both of these, fantastic work.

    You are one talented lady

  5. Chrystin! You just keep chugging out work and it is all so good! Keep impressing us with your talents! I am so excited to see where God takes you with all the gifts you have been given!

  6. A second project on top of Nightmare Parade! You go, girl!!!
I love the squishy, FLUFFYYYY dogs!
P.S. Look up "panda dogs." they will blow your mind away.
