Key Poses!

Pulled my first all-nighter of the quarter! Apparently, half of my senior class did as well, but I missed out on it. Boo. Nonetheless, I somehow managed to finish all of the key frames for the film! They are still very rough, but it's a good start for now. You can check it out at the usual place if you're interested!

All of the backgrounds were done by the incredible Matt Doering, by the by! I feel incredibly blessed to have such a talented friend on my team. He's a super hero for sure, so make sure to take a gander at his work!

Can't think of much else to say right now, other than the fact that Jen and I are in desperate need of sleep.

So sweet dreams space fans! I'll be joining you in a few hours.

In the meantime, here are some pieces I've been working on for my 2D Production class.

Our first assignment was to do a photo-realistic rendering of some sort of background that we would later animate a bouncing ball in later. Since I've got nothing, but clocks on the brain right now, I figured I could get away with this.

I was sorely mistaken.

So take two. This is my "realistic" rendering of one of the backgrounds in my senior film.

Aaaand. Here's the "abstract" render! This was so much fun to do...even if it does look like an underwater sea adventure. Hopefully, the final film will look somewhat like this. Lots of textures and patterns and bright colors everywhere. Hold the sea water, please.

  1. Thanks for the credit Chrystin! I am soooo excited to be apart of such an amazing project. Your 2D Production paintings are AMAZING! Holy crap, this is the type of quality I have to pump out for your film?!?!?!? I better get practicing :D
